How This Gets Paid For
HUD Section 202 properties can submit a budget amendment to HUD to cover the monthly SaaS subscription cost. HUD reviews and authorizes a corresponding rent adjustment — meaning the cost is built into operating expenses and offset by authorized rent, resulting in $0 out-of-pocket for the property.
